Generally, the most common light cycle for vegetative stage is 18/6 (light/darkness) but it can also be any combination of light and darkness like 20/4, 19/5 as long as they don't get more than 12 hours of darkness per day, they will trigger flowering.
Note, light cycle mainly refer to the photoperiodic plants. Photoperiodic cannabis depends solely on the amount of light and darkness to start flowering. Which is a big challenge for a new growers, need to control everything, including light cycle. For autoflower plants, it seems not that important to them. The major factors are the huminditu and temperature, which have an influence on the development of cannabis. If we give less light like 19/5, they also will be underdevelop, but will flower either less.
To much or too less light, both is not well for plants growth. You could experience with different light cycle to find which is best for your plants.
